This is a list of our Best 100 ski resorts ranked by size.  We are using the published number of acres from the resort.  It’s impossible to verify this unless you have the resort master plan documents, so we have to believe the resorts on this one.

* Powder Mountain is significantly padding their numbers by including lots of hike-to and private terrain.   Including the new DMI expansion in 26/27, I mapped the public lift-accessible acreage out at about 3,250 acres on Gaia GPS.  This is the only resort I adjusted because it was blatantly inaccurate and would have been ranked 3rd alongside Palisades Tahoe, which is absurd.
